it's to LAOS again, but this time it's PAKSE! :D
8th-15th October
LAOS, PAKSE
LAOS, PAKSE
lead by Mr Tan and Mrs Wong.
a group of 29 students including me (:
stop over @ Cambodia
before taking the connecting flight the next day
to head to Laos, Pakse! :D
Day 1; Departure from Singapore,
Arrival at Cambodia, stop over for a night.
arrive @ Siem Reap International Airport
we stayed @ Angkor Holiday Hotel
dinner @ a stall along the road.
then shopping time! @ AngKor Night Market :D
Day 2; trip to the lost city, AngKor Watt!
and AngKor Thom, where they film Tomb Raider!
Arrival at Cambodia, stop over for a night.

brand new hotel, nice and cosy

Day 3; Tour to Wat Phou
and Khone Phapeng waterfall

Day 4; Opening ceremony.

Day 5, 6; Teaching of English and IT lessons.

the evening is sooooo beautiful~~
dinner at a restaurant on Mekong River! :D
then some relaxation time,
playing billard and bowling.
there is even a cinema up there!
Day 7; Closing ceremony &
shopping time!!!

we were all invited to a high-end hotel
for the farewell party! :D

and we heard that it's very expensive!

Day 8; Goodbye Laos, Pakse.
Back to Singapore! ):

although this is the 2nd time
that I've went for a OCP to Laos.
but it produces a different kind of feelings..
maybe it's because of the different clique of friends
that I've went with and the different environment I've been to.
Pakse is more on the rural side,
and i simply love it :D
waking up in the morning, looking out of the window,
i dont see HDB blocks and cars rushing,
i see mountains and the sun rising.
with the morning breeze which is totally refreshing!
laos people are still very modest and kind.
you'll feel great to be with them.
I'm missing the time there already...
how i wish I'm able to go there again..
well, maybe another OCP? X=
it's never enough man! :D
the hardwork in the beginning is all paid off (:
