AND NOW,
IM FINALLY BLOGGING ABOUT THE TRIP!!!

5th April 2010, Monday!

reach Airpot @ about 5am in the morning D:

check in-ed and we flew off to LAOS!

we flew to Bangkok 1st,

then transitted to Laos!

first day in Laos! :D
we arrived at Ulayvanh Hotel!

weeeeeeeets! our nice nice room~

with good air-conditioner! :D

then we went for a Opening Ceremony

and we went to Mehkong River Night Maket!

6th to 8th April 2010,
Tuesday to Thursday!

teaching of English

to the youths from the Laos Youth Union

the 1st day of teaching,

i was somehow gonna give up,

cause the student im teaching - Tin,

are having communication problem with me,
like...
i ask him if he understands and i explain to him,
but he doesnt understands what i says,
and he tried to talk to me but i dont understand
what he says!!! D':

and he's very shy~

i was asking if he need any help,

but he say he will go back and look into his dictionary D:

so it was hell for me for doing nothing!
and i can't think of what to do,
so feels like i sucks being a teacher D':
but in the end,
still manage to teach him pronunciation of the words!
which at least something was done.
and we've learnt that...

TEACHING IS NOT EASY AT ALL!

YOU NEED ALOT OF PATIENCE!!!

but on the 2nd day - 7th April,

i taught 2 students - Ming and Air ,
who are both very willing to learn!

which motivates me alot in teaching again! :D

ohya! not forgetting 7th April!

my big 19th birthday!! :D

rachel give me this in the morning! :D

and i've got a birthday surprise from my English team!

we were playing HangMan,

and they suddenly change to Greetings.

and i was thinking Good Morning, Good Afternoon or what,

then it was

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

and my whole class sang me birthday song to me!

so sweeet right!!! :D

then i got another surprise from our team,

when eating dinner,

Ms Wong was like "after dinner,

don't go up 1st, i've got something to say."

then i was like, what she want to say sia x:

then they bring the birthday cake out! :D

and i thought somebody has the same birthday as me!

same 7th april! LOL :P

but no! the cake was meant for me and Fazhly,

as his birthday falls on Sunday - 11th April! :D

the candles on the cake are always relighted

even though was already blew off!

so Fazhly and i was like blowing and blowing the candles.

TSK! hahahas! Laos still got this kinda of candles huh! LOL

ohya!

wanling called me at about 11plus to wish me Happy Birthday! :D

weeeeeeets~

and we wish her Happy Anniversary of her and Rahim!♥ :D

last long long!! ^^v

after the surprise,
we went Laos's Chinatown to shop!
[it's super boring there,
and the stuffs wasnt cheap...]

but i saw PINK EGGS there! :D

and on the 3rd day - 8th April,

i taught back Tin!

and was happy that he became more familiar to me

and he keep calling my name like..

"Eileen, is this correct?"

"Eileen, how to read this?"

kinda questions and stuffs,

and was happy that im able to help him ! :D

we played games,

and revised through what we've taught in the 3 days,

and was happy that most of them could answer the questions! :D

we took a group photo, and many photos with them! ^^

after leaving the classroom,

and some tragedy happened! D:

SECRET, but i will never forget for LIFE!

i sprain my hand!... BADLY...

ok forget it...
the 3 cute first aid girls - Christina, Zu-er, Felicia
came to my rescue!
hahahas~
Christina help me apply ointment on my hand,
and they help me bandage~ :D

after that we went to the Embassy of Singapore in Laos
when we are arriving there,
from there you will know it's the building,
cause the structure is typical Singapore kind of building!

9th April 2010, Friday

we went to the Closing Ceremony~
and one of our student, Ming
super cute! she gave each of us a good luck band,
and she tied it ion our wrists :D

our english students getting their certificates! :D

then they taught us some Laos dance,

we went back to the hotel to rest after that...

then Christina, Felicia, Zu-er, Sherylene, Isabel, Rachel and i
decided to go our ourselves!
and after persuading Ms Wong for super long~
she finally let us out! weeeets~

we sat tutu to Morning Market!

at the Ta Lat Sao- Morning Market

we didnt went to the air-con part,
because we didnt know there was one!
tsk tsk tsk...

at night we went to a hotel/restaurant?
for a like farewell dinner with the Laos Youth Union people.
and it was so fun!
somemore the "dance floor" got disco ball.
hahahahas!

10th April 2010, Saturday

went to Buddha Park!

about 45mins ride, from our Hotel!~

that place has so many magnificent views!

took me alot of courage to stand up there!
SCARYYYYYYYY~

then we went back to Hotel and rest,
before we head for a Soccer match with the Laos students

and while they are playing soccer,
one of our student, Son, help us tied our hair! :D

while doing Rachel's hair...

then my hair!,

at first she tie until want finish already,
then she was like, eh wrong!
then she untie everything and tie again! OMG D:
she super patient can...
if is me, sure pek cek already :P kekes...

lovely Son! :D

11th April 2010, Sunday

out we go for sight seeing!!! :D
we went to this place..
Phra That Luang!

and we went into the temple, Wat Mai
to bai bai~ :D

the colours of this picture very matching right? :D
like the sky very blue and grass very green~ LOL

then when we're leaving,
i decided to purchase the birds and set them free!

i touched the little birddies~ ^^

after that we went to Patuxy Park!

that's the Victory Monument! :D

we didnt went up the monument,

as we headed to the world peace gong!~

WATER! :D such a hot weather,
how i wish i could jump inside and swim! LOL!

look at how much we have to walk
WITH NO SHELTER! = HELLLLL

we ran up the bus quickly after that
and headed to the Talat Sao Mall. LOL

now we went to the air-conditioned part! LOL

i've bought ALOT of stuffs! :D
weeeeets~

i super love these shoes! :D

then at night,
we went to Mekong River Market again~
hahahas!
because the things are cheap and can bargain there xP

we ate our dinner , at a road side stall.
we tried the phad thai there :D

yummy! :D
we went for our last minute shopping
and i finish spending all my money!!! xD

farewell to our great tour guides for this trip!~

last day in Laos D:
morning breakfast was sumptous!

walao... i miss the food lahhh...
the food is always so damn nice can )):
I WANNA EAT CHICKEN!!!

after breakfast we did final packing,
and headed to the airpot~ T_____T
